So we’re back after a brief period of inactivity. Today I will be reviewing Full Throttle Fat Loss, one of the more technical products on the fitness market. Dr Kareem’s USP is that with his fitness plan, you will lose weight, as you would expect, but he also assures us that the fat will stay away and that you’ll maintain healthy levels of fitness for years to come. My review will analyse this. Dr Kareem has created an exercise regime that gives double the results most conventional programmes do. It does this through training the entire body. Each separate body part receives a different exercise, but all are fundamentally designed to achieve maximum muscle contraction. You might ask that if all the exercises achieve the same result, what is the point in such a multitude of different workouts? The best way I can explain this to you is that you would not judge an elephant, a monkey and a fish on their ability to climb a tree. Each animal requires a separate test, in the same way, your muscles work too differently to exercise them all the same way. Full Throttle Fat Loss emulates a wide number of exercises because in this way it is guaranteed that all your muscles will be exercised. The muscle balance concept keeps appearing; however there is also an emphasis on bringing in other bodily systems, for instance, Kareem focuses some of his programme towards exercising your digestive system. Using your flight or fight response and stimulating adrenal rushes, your digestive system and your metabolism will speed up, helping you to shed the pounds and take more nutrients. Isn’t science fun?
The good Doctor also makes an effort to explain that once he was just like us. Oh yes, he was once fat and unhealthy. I’ll be honest this didn’t really win me over that much. If he wasn’t to pull that sort of thing off he should take some acting classes because the amateur dramatics doesn’t rub off on me. What we can learn from this however, is that not only is he a trained fitness instructor, but he’s been through the grind himself, through using his own techniques and with an understanding of some pretty complex science, he managed to cut the flab himself without any external help. This is quite refreshing to hear, a lot of fitness gurus promote their products and tell us that they went through fitness plans to cut weight, but quite a few of them didn’t use their own exercise programmes, they had help from personal trainers or what have you. It’s something to look out for when someone like Dr Kareem comes along and uses his own Full Throttle Fat Loss to lose weight.
One last point is that this is one of the first products I’ve seen that promotes exercise hand in hand with performance in the bedroom. Dr Kareem may appear a bit shy and he breezes over this point quite quickly. I however, am not so prude. I think that’s the good old Anglo-Irish blood kicking in. My point is this, if a fitness routine can help you to please your partner and generally improve the pleasure you get in the bedroom, you should get a copy quickly, because that’s a great benefit to get from a fitness programme isn’t it?

The Internet is literally packed with books, programs, guides and nutritional supplements that promise ‘quick and easy fat loss’ for anyone. Unfortunately, probably 98% of them are nothing more than marketing hype full of empty promises. All they want is your money–they don’t care whether or not their ‘solution’ actually works. For the average guy, it’s difficult to figure out which ones are worth buying and which ones should be ignored. One of the biggest issues I have with most ‘fat loss’ programs is that the authors assume that every other guy out there is just like them. They mistakenly believe that all bodies react equally to the same stimulus–but that’s just not true. It’s just like fingerprints–no two metabolic systems are exactly alike. They all serve the same purpose and function the same way, but each system has its own particular nuances that set it apart from every other system in the world.
That is precisely the reason why before even I finished the first page, I knew Full Throttle Fat Loss would be something different. Dr. Kareem Samhouri makes it clear that he understands this fundamental concept right from the start. In fact, Step 1 of the program is entitled “Your body is your body. Learn about it.” This basic concept forms the underlying foundation to Dr. Samhouri’s Full Throttle Fat Loss program.
Before you can dive into the program you have to learn about your body and the way your metabolism functions. Three keys to this process include:
1) understanding whether you’re muscles are mostly fast-twitch or slow-twitch;
2) determining your energy levels in the morning, mid-day and afternoon; and

The next part of the book is focused on ‘Exercise program modifications for your body’s imbalances.’ According to Dr. Samhouri, a body that is ‘in-balance’ burns fat at a much faster pace than one that is ‘out-of-balance.’ And though I’m no expert on the subject, it certainly seems to make sense that this would be the case.
Nutrition is the next topic covered, followed by a chapter on motivation. Dr. Samhouri admits that nutrition isn’t his strongest field of expertise so he provides some basic guidelines and then directs the reader to a number of online resources. At least he’s honest—most people would lie about it and bluff their way through. This section wraps up with a brief discussion of summary questions for Full Throttle Fat Lass program customization. As long as you’ve answered these questions, you’re ready to launch into the program.
The Full Throttle program takes place over the course of 16 weeks. This is a bit longer than most programs, which are generally just 12 weeks.
